UpToNoGood pay tribute to New Wave, Brit Pop and Rock Anthems. This music is deep within our DNA. We were there, we’ve grown up with it over the years, and we love it! Whether it’s the full blown Britpop sound of an Oasis, Pulp or Blur anthem or the more subtle sounds of the grass roots New Wave pioneers like Blondie, The Pretenders, The Clash or Ian Dury or more modern rock of Nirvana, Kaiser Chiefs, The Killers or U2 – we’ve got it. If you want a sanitised fully choreographed Slick-Rick pop group, look elsewhere. But, If you want to revisit the great new wave, Brit pop and rock sounds with an independent spirit from the late 70’s to the present day then – we’ve got it.
What Kind of music do we play:
In the late 1970’s music changed. Dull and uninspiring music had been dominating the world until punk rock arrived and really shook things up. Soon the raw energy of punk morphed into the classic sounds of New Wave – The Jam, The Clash and loads more. Given a bit of an Irish twist we got U2 and The Undertones. Given an American twist…The Cars and Blondie appeared! UpToNoGood cover all this. But that’s not the end of the story. So many bands since then have taken this spirit and, in our opinion, produced music that embraces the vibe of this era and gave it a variety of contemporary remixes on the way. Oasis, Blur, The B52’s, The Strokes, Nirvana, The Killers, The Stereophonics plus many more are covered in our set.
Performance
Don’t worry, we won’t smash the place up! We replace the unpredictable antics of the bands we pay tribute to with an energetic and enthusiastic performance that will put a smile on your face. You can sit back and singalong or rock up on the dance floor and maybe throw in a pogo or two…it’s up to you.

We can configure our equipment and spectacle to most settings. It might be a small corner of a pub or a big stage at a festival – we’ll fit in and make it work for you.
